The Ballet Trend

    Hello loves I hope you had a fabulous week! Today I wanted to talk a little more in depth about the
 ballet trend. I mentioned it in my Spring/Summer Trend Guide blog post Here, but I wanted to show you how I wore it while I was visiting Washington D.C. I will also include different ways that you can wear the trend.


It was a beautiful breezy day in D.C. and I knew that it was a perfect day to wear this look. I purchased this light pink skirt with gold specks from The Loft. I loved this skirt so much that I also purchased the matching top. This skirt is super girly and fun. I especially love it because it is pleated and I am loving pleated skirts right now. This skirt is perfect for the ballet trend because it is girly, and flowy, and that is perfect for the ballet trend. I paired it with a tan sweater and a silver metallic crossbody purse by Rebecca Minkoff.

Below are some examples of different ways to wear the ballet trend. Flowy, feminine dresses and skirts; ballet inspired flats, or high heels that laces up the legs are all a part of the ballet trend.
