2015 Spring Fashion Trends

Let's talk Fashion Trends!
With a start of a New Year comes new fashion trends!! I did some digging and was able to pull up some pieces, straight from the runway! (Courtesy of  the Huffington Post website). I'm going to give you the scoop of what's going to be in this Spring! I will show you how to make it your own and how you can incorporate those looks in your everyday life. Let's begin:

Romantic Bohemian: The Bohemian trend has made its way back onto the runway, and for those who may not know, the bohemian look (also known as boho-chic) is a style of fashion drawing various free-spirited and hippie influences. This look is from the Dries Van Noten Paris runway show. Most of the garments on the runway were free flowing fabrics, bold paisley prints, soft pastel colors, and long floor sweeping dresses. I have never wore the bohemian look, but I think this season I'll try something new!

Bridal White: Head to toe white or neutral colors were a staple on the runway and on some celebrities. This look is easy to achieve since you're wearing the same color throughout the outfit. I like to have fun with color, so with this trend I would suggest adding a printed black and white shoe or blouse underneath an all white suit. A mix of prints in the same color family or different color shoe can add a special touch to your look. In this photo the mix of fabrics, texture, and a hint of black with the crocet detailing, is the perfect outfit for adding your own style!

Fresh Florals: "Florals in spring? Groundbreaking." One of my favorite quotes from the Devil Wears Prada! Well this Spring, flowers has made an appearance and not just in your garden, but on the runways too. In this photo the designer chose an all white look and added floral appliques onto the garment, making it look like a small boutique of pink roses. I really like this look because it is interesting, girly, and fun! I adore prints, so trying this look won't be an issue for me!

Gingham and Crop Top Trend: Two trends wrapped into one, the gingham print and the crop top. Crop tops started making an appearances just last year and has continued to make it's way into Spring 2015. The Gingham look is a checkered print, typically in black and white, but is now featured in various colors. The pink and white look, shown on Rihanna, is the prime example of gingham trend!

Sheer Fabric Trend: On the runway there were a lot of sheer and transparent fabrics. This photo expresses the all white and the sheer fabric trend, wrapped into one! I love the sheer, look it can be girly, sweet or edgy! It just depends on how you wear it.

The Embellished Denim Trend: This trend is basically bedazzling your favorite denim pants, jackets, skirts, and everything else in between. I don't know how I feel about this trend, but I may try it out! If so, I'll make sure to post how I styled it and give more feedback about the this exact trend.

Ruffles: Another look making its way back on runway! I love ruffles, so I'm excited about this trend for Spring and seeing numerous designers vision with this trend. I already have tops with ruffles, so this will be an easy look for me to wear.

The Wide Leg Trend: Last year's pants were more tapered and straight leg. This Spring season, the pants width has gotten wider! I love how the designer chose to combine both trends into this look, sheer with the wide leg pants.
